They are all either yellow or white, and either a star-shape or a row of icicle lights hanging from a convenient balcony or window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not our landlord\u2019s. \u201cI was in Los Angeles for Christmas one year,\u201d he told me, \u201cand I saw the way the Americans do the lights and I said, I need to bring that back with me. Do you like it?
